We can't wait to see you all at the Fifty Interest Meeting (mandatory for all prospective hikers and supporters) THIS WEDNESDAY 9/21 at 7pm in Dartmouth Hall 105!

Have you ever wanted to hike 50 miles of the Appalachian Trail IN ONE GO over the course of 24-30 hours?

Do you think anyone who would ever want to hike 50 miles of the Appalachian Trail in one go over the course of 24-30 hours is straight up bananas but still want to support them along the way?

HAVE NO FEAR

If either of these statements sound like you, you should get involved with...

THE FIFTY!!

The 16F Fifty will take place on October 7th-8th, during which 32 fierce, trail-blazin' students with a dream in their hearts will hike the 50+ miles from Moosilauke back home to Hanover*** overnight in teams of four. Along the way, they are given food, hugs, and first aid at SUPPORT STATIONS full of loving, flair-clad fellow students.

If you're bout it, mark the following dates on your calendar:

On WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 at 7pm in Dartmouth Hall 105 there will be an informational meeting, mandatory for anyone interested in hiking or supporting the Fifty. All students are welcome (We're looking at you, 20s!) If you want to hike but don't have 3 other friends with the same dream, have no fear-- teams can be formed and merged at the meeting.

THE FIFTY will take place on October 7th-8th-- yay!

Until then, don't hesitate to blitz [log in to unmask]com with any questions, comments, or concerns!

See ya next week!!!

With love from your 16F Fifty Directors,
Lucia Pierson, Eric Greenlee, and Chris Huberty

***yes, you read that right! Due to the Lodj's current state as a blocked-off construction site, we decided to throw it back to the way the Fifty was run when the tradition first began and ran for years later, from Moosilauke (specifically, Kinsman's Notch) to campus. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us!
