Happy Sunday, Dartmouth!

Do you like to go outside?

Are you interested in joining the DOC...but aren't sure where to start?

Come to the first *~ Women in the Wilderness ~* meeting of the term tonight!

What is Women in the Wilderness?

WIW is a Dartmouth Outing Club network that facilitates and celebrates female leadership in the out of doors. WIW's aim is to connect newcomers to the outdoors with leaders and resources in the Dartmouth Outing Club, provide opportunities for skill development, and build a diverse community of female outdoor leaders. We meet weekly and run a handful of outdoors trips per term. Many members are involved in activities across the DOC.

Do I have to be a woman to join?

No! The group is gender-inclusive, so people may join the WIW community and participate in trips regardless of their gender identity. Due to the focus on empowering women in the outdoors, only women may lead WIW trips.

How do I get involved?

Come to our first meeting! Every Sunday, we meet for dinner (we call these dinners "feeds") to talk about going outside and to plan & advertise DOC trips. TONIGHT'S feed will be at 6:30 pm at Panarchy (9 School St). Feel free to show up at Panarchy or join the group walking from behind Robinson Hall at 6:15 pm.

This term's feeds are free for 20s! $4 DASH for everyone else so bring your IDs.
