What is involved in the Memorial Challenge?

The Memorial Challenge is a workout circuit on Dartmouth’s Red Rolfe Field (the baseball field). Challengers will complete the circuit in teams while challenging themselves to meet their goals! On the day of the event, Challengers will check in from 10:00-10:45 then participate in a hour-long circuit followed up with music and food!

What is the Memorial Challenge all about?

The Memorial Challenge was inspired by Blaine Steinberg ’15 and Torin Tucker ‘15, two extremely active Dartmouth student-athletes who were known for their shared passion for embracing challenges and pushing the boundaries of one’s comfort zone. Blaine and Torin unexpectedly passed away during their time at Dartmouth, and this event is designed for Challengers to remember the way in which Blaine and Torin admirably brought the community together and how each approached challenges as an opportunity to grow. This upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, Challengers are encouraged to come together and get outside of their comfort zones during the Ultimate Community Circuit!

All proceeds from The Memorial Challenge will go directly toward supporting sports cardiology research and services at Dartmouth-Hitchchock Heart and Vascular Center (HVC) to further this previously under-researched field and challenge the boundaries of early detection!
