Come listen to Fredrik Eriksson ’16 talk about the research he did in Africa last summer!

 

GROWING CHANGE MEETING, 8PM, Collis 212

Growing Change designs and teaches a farm-to-school curriculum in local elementary schools and helps them plant gardens. Join their meeting to plan their lesson for Wednesday! Also Growing Change recently won the Plate of the Union runner-up prize to drive engagement around food issues in the 2016 elections!

Sustainable Clothing Sale, 3-6pm, Collis 101

Sign up here as an individual, group of friends, Greek house or organization, and sell your used clothing directly to other members of the Dartmouth community. Signing up is completely free and you get to keep 100% of the money you make. At your personal table, you will be responsible for displaying and pricing your old flair, sports gear, formal attire, casual clothing, and any other sellable items. It's essentially a farmers market of clothing where students are the sellers/buyers!

 

FARM CLUB MEETING, 4pm, Hornig Library in Fairchild

Interested in learning about the Organic Farm, finding out what a work day is, or just want to learn more about farm club? Join the meeting! 

 

DARTMOUTH ANIMAL RIGHTS TROUPE, 7:30pm, Collis 218

If you’re interested in promoting animal rights on campus, in the Upper Valley and in the world, join DART! Events in the past have included: Meatless Monday promotion; Earth Day display on the environmental impacts of meat; discussion dinners on topics such as animal research and wildlife conservation; and hosting major, nationally-known animal rights speakers.

 

DARTMOUTH HUMANITARIAN ENGINEERING, 8pm, Spanos C100 (Thayer)

Join an organization that works to find sustainable, affordable, socially conscious solutions for communities in need! DHE runs a wide range of technical projects in developing nations, including small-scale hydropower, improved cookstoves, and an initiative aimed at improving access to clean water.

Interested in learning more about how to positively impact the investment portfolio of the College? Want to learn more about the national fossil fuel divestment movement that has taken hold in college campuses across the country? Join us for our weekly meeting.

Enjoy the weather and work outside! The Farm is one of Dartmouth’s most special places! If you’re a senior and have always been meaning to come to the Farm, this is your chance!

Hang out with the Bike Mechanics and chill on a Friday afternoon while enjoying some burgers!
