I invite you to apply to be next year's President's Office Intern!

 

The President's Office Intern serves as a liaison between the Office of the President and the student body, presenting student perspective to the Office of the President and representing the Office to students. The Intern implements a variety of events for the President, such as student lunches and lectures. The Intern helps with research projects, outreach to the Dartmouth community, and oversight of some President's Office initiatives. Additionally, the President's Intern is an ex officio member of Palaeopitus Senior Society. 


As the President's Intern, you:

 

Help impact Dartmouth: As the President's Office Intern, you have access to high-level administrators, as well as a responsibility to represent students. In helping to facilitate the relationship between students and administrators, you can do a lot of good for both.

 

Develop Valuable Skills: The internship offers a chance to develop valuable career and life skills such as event planning, project management, communication, and professionalism.

 

Serve Dartmouth: The intern has the chance to help senior officers communicate more effectively with students and make informed decisions. You also have the chance to help fellow students find and connect with the right campus resources and understand how the administration works.

 

Who Should Apply:

The position is open to '17s who plan to be on campus during the fall, winter, and spring terms of the coming academic year and will graduate in June 2017. In addition, strong candidates for the position will:

- Be comfortable with change and ambiguity

- Possess a broad understanding of campus and its constituencies

- Have some experience in event planning, marketing, or working in an administrative capacity

- Communicate effectively in written, spoken, and visual media
