FAQ about Dance-a-thon:
DO I HAVE TO BE THERE ALL 12 HOURS?
NO! As a team, you need to have at least 2 representatives from your team on the dance floor at all times from 6pm-6am. We’d LOVE to see folks dance for all 12 hours, but
you are welcome to divide the time up into shifts. We will be tracking participation for teams throughout the event.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE?
It would be SUPER if you could put together your team and register by THURSDAY, March 31 at midnight. Your registration fee goes UP (to $7 each) after that & it helps expedite
entrance by knowing who to expect.
DOES MY FRATERNITY/SORORITY EARN PHIL HOURS FOR THIS EVENT?
Most Greek life organizations should be able to receive philanthropy hours for volunteering & dancing at the event. Double check with your Phil chair to make sure.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
All teams who pre-register by THURSDAY, March 31 at Midnight will be charged an initial donation of $5 per person. Donations go to the Upper Valley organization of your choice – WISE, Project VetCare, or
Upper Valley Haven.
WHAT DO I GET FOR PARTICIPATING?
For showing up/paying registration @ event ($3 donation):
Dance-a-thon Laptop/Water bottler Sticker
Dartmouth Bandana
For team finish*:
Dance-a-thon “FINISHER" T-shirt
*team finish is defined as having at least 2 representatives from your team on the dance floor at all times from 6pm-6am.
For the team that raises the MOST money (through donations, requests, etc) BEYOND their team registration donation:
$250 gift certificate to PINE
For everyone going strong in Common Ground from 5-6am:
Free breakfast & Skinny Pancake voucher for One Free Sweet Crepe (when they open)

IF I CAN’T PUT TOGETHER A TEAM OR PARTICIPATE FOR THE FULL EVENT, WHAT CAN I DO?
You can come for whatever long you can (subject to capacity limits) and make a donation of $3 at the door to a participating TEAM or individual charity of your choice!
