Occom Pond - Closed Until Further Notice

Dear Campus Community,

Although the weather has turned cooler, the ice thickness around the edge of the pond is not sufficient enough for us to get equipment on to the ice to maintain it and remove the snow. The overall warm conditions and last week's rain have set us back for the season. We are checking the pond daily and plan to open it back up for use when conditions permit. In the meantime, the no trespassing signs have been placed back up around the pond until we can open it.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
