Dear Community,
The Psi Chapter of La Unidad Latina would like to announce the presence of a new group in the Upper Valley committed to racial justice.
Recently, the NAACP held a meeting where those present discussed the idea of allyship. It was mentioned by one of the facilitators that the goal is not to be considered a good ally, but rather the goal should be to actively check in with the vulnerable communities
one wishes to uplift.
Allyship is not an identity, it's a lifestyle. That requires active engagement, which is why the group is called

The local chapter
seeks student involvement. On their behalf that we invite you to join them for
their weekly vigil for black lives on the Green (Wheelock/Main, opposite collis). Any questions can be sent to this account.
