Thought Project Dinner with Professor Pati Hernandez

Chicken parmesan, baked ziti, salad, and apple crisp will be served.

Professor Hernandez explores political and social problems through the arts. She is the creator and facilitator of the program, Telling My Story, which brings theater, music and dance into prisons and rehabilitation centers to give participants a voice and a means of expression.

Her program at Dartmouth, Telling My Story On Campus provides students a platform to reflect upon the invisible social walls of race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other issues identified by students. The goal? To build a healthier community based on acceptance, inclusiveness and empathy.
