Learn skills to support the wellbeing of your peers! -Sign up for Thriving Together training- In the training... * Get trained in M.I. - a communication style that helps you improve listening skills, provide empathetic support, increase motivation for positive change, and build your relationship * Learn frameworks for holistic wellbeing and self-care * Deepen knowledge in a topic of your interest to share with others in the program (alcohol & other drugs, nutrition, stress reduction, sleep, etc) Schedule: Mandatory MI training Part 1: Monday, September 28, 3- 6 pm Mandatory MI training Part 2: Monday, October 5, 3-6 pm Weekly 1 hr wellness & MI boosters: Time TBD after signups to work with your schedule After training, you can decide your involvement as a Wellness Peer on a term to term basis.
