GlobeMed is a national non-profit organization that focuses on addressing global health inequities. GlobeMed partners college chapters with grassroots organizations around the world. Our chapter, *GlobeMed at Dartmouth*, is partnered with Kachin Women's Association Thailand (*KWAT*), located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. KWAT aims to support and empower Kachin refugees who were forced to leave their homes and relocate to the Burma-Thailand border.
