Judge John Broderick, former dean of UNH Law School, is coming to Dartmouth on August 19 to talk about his experience as a public servant, “Public Service Is Not for the Faint of Heart.” He will be addressing issues such as the key challenges he faced in his career and how he personally responded to them.

 

Come to the Class of 1930 Room at 2:00 PM on Wednesday 8/19 to hear from and ask questions directly to the Judge himself. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Judge Broderick was the former dean of UNH Law School, as well as the Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He is nationally renowned for his critique of the court system and efforts to redesign it to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In 2007, he received the L. Jonathan Ross Award for Outstanding Commitment to Legal Service for the Poor. Judge Broderick previously served on the Board of the Legal Services Corporation as President Bill Clinton's appointee.
