Isolation When: 7 PM Saturday – 9 PM Sunday Why: Because hanging out at the lodge is awesome, because Mt. Isolation has fantastic views of the southern Presidentials and Washington itself, because the Glen Boulder approach is a scenic and beautiful alpine route above tree line, and because "The mountains are calling, and I must go" ~ John Muir. This trip will be a strenuous hike, probably will be snowy at the top, and will have over 5,000 feet of elevation gain. When: 5pm Sat - 5pm Sun (overnight) Why: Because it's finally spring, Sunday will be warm and sunny, and what else could you want to do besides get up to the lodge and do some relaxed hiking?
