PRIDE 2015 Committee Application
The PRIDE 2015 Committee will get together starting at the end of Winter Term to plan the events for PRIDE Week (April 26-May 4). Positions: Co-Chair (1 position) -Attend weekly committee meetings, as well as an additional Co-Chair meetings -Oversee other chairs’ work -Support efforts of subcommittees -Be highly organized, dedicated, flexible, and creative -Candidates will be interviewed for this position Marketing Chair (1 position) -Prepare advertisements for Pride to send out to campus and surrounding community. This will take the form of emails, social media, and posters. -Will be in charge of t-shirt design, ordering, and appropriate distribution -Graphic design experience preferred Finance Chairs (2 positions) -Soliciting funding from campus organization and local businesses -Oversee the Pride Budget -Will be working with Karen Tucker, the office manager of the CGSE, to handle official finance paperwork and payments to vendors/speakers -Highly organized, Excel experience en
 
PRIDE is a weeklong celebration of the LGBTQ+ Community with workshops, shows, and wonderful keynotes. It aims to bring the LGBTQ+ community and allies together to educate the world, commemorate LGBTQ+ heritage and culture, and liberate LGBTQ+ people.​
