Student Discussion on social justice and protest with Starsky Wilson, co-chair of the Ferguson Commission

 

Want to learn more about the critical role that young leaders are playing in creating change in Ferguson (and how this might relate to various efforts of Dartmouth students in working for change)? How to take care of yourself in the midst of struggle? How and why to stand up to injustice?

 

Then join us for a discussion with Rev. Starsky Wilson, co-chair of the Ferguson Commission.  He, along with community members and other clergy, has been at the forefront of the effort to coordinate local and national protests in response to the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson.

 

The discussion/workshop will be this Saturday, Jan. 17^th, from 10-noon at the Tucker Foundation, S. Fairbanks Hall (right behind S. Mass).
