​THIS WINTER'S MAIN STAGE PRODUCTION: ROMEO & JULIET
Directed by Peter Hackett

We all know the story of Shakespeare's iconic romantic tragedy- or do we? In this production, actors are interviewed, they audition, rehearse and perform sections of Romeo and Juliet, all in an effort to discover the true story of the star-crossed lovers.

AUDITION DATES:
 Tues Jan 8 and Wed Jan 7 from 6:30-10 PM— callbacks on January 8.

SIGN UP FOR AUDITIONS:
Signup sheets will be posted will be posted in Shakespeare Alley in the HOP on the first day of classes.
You’ll be signing up in groups of 12 and they’ll be three time slots each night: 
Group A: 6:30-7:30 PM
Group B: 7:45-8:45 PM
Group C: 9 –10 PM 

AUDITION MATERIAL: 
Please prepare a monologue (doesn’t have to be memorized) from a character that interests you. 
You will also have the opportunity to indicate what other roles interest you, as well.

Note:  Film and video will be an important part of the production design so there will be a camera in auditions.

Stage Management will be by students in THEA 41.
