Speaker Bios:

Greg Waldbaum '90: Greg joined 3d Lacrosse in 2009 as a member of the Board of Directors and in 2011 joined the Company full time as the President & Chief Operating Officer. Greg is an experienced entrepreneur and general manager with proven expertise in marketing, strategic planning, business development, and finance. Greg focuses on strategic direction, financial planning, marketing, operations, and business development. Greg has served as the President of six operating companies over the past two decades, four of which he was an original founder, including co-founding Green Room Productions with Eric Butz '90 and Trip Davis '90.


 

Trip Davis '90: Prior to his appointments at Dartmouth and University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Trip was an entrepreneur and executive in travel technology. Named one of the top 25 most influential executives in the travel industry in 2002 and 2007, Trip served as the CEO of two successful technology services firms. In 1995, he co-founded San Francisco-based Green Room with two Dartmouth classmates to deliver web development services to travel companies and sold the company to iXL in 1998. In 1999, he helped to start Atlanta-based TRX as a technology spin-off from a travel agency to offer automated transaction processing and data analytics to travel agencies, airlines and web sites. He served as CEO through 2008 and Chairman through July 2013, building the company to 2,000 employees in 5 countries, completing its IPO in 2005 and sale to Concur Technologies in 2013.

The Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network (DEN) fosters and promotes entrepreneurship. The DEN includes over 50,000 people and 14 chapter cities, offering courses, workshops, speaker series, startup competitions and networking activities. Founded in 2000, the DEN is a core component the Office of Entrepreneurship & Technology Transfer at Dartmouth. 


 

In 2014, in the heart of the Arts and Innovation District in Hanover, the DEN Innovation Center and New Venture Incubator launched as a tangible manifestation of President Hanlon's vision for Dartmouth as a hub of entrepreneurial creativity and energy.
