Do you want what it takes to be an effective leader or manager?

Then register for the Management and Leadership Development Program<http://bit.ly/Rocky-MLDP>!

The Management and Leadership Development Program (MLDP) at Rocky is a term-long leadership development program that uses experiential learning techniques to develop vital skills applicable to all Dartmouth students. Our mission is to enable and equip students to become leaders that can have impact, beginning on this campus, and beyond, to their eventual career fields and sectors. MLDP provides participants with opportunities to develop both a set of practical skills and also a theoretical framework with which to approach management and leadership.

The program is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Register here <http://www.jotformpro.com/RockefellerCenter/MLDP-2015> by this Friday (10/31) to be considered for Winter 2015!

Need more information? Check out the Rocky website here<http://rockefeller.dartmouth.edu/studentopps/mldp.html>.

As a participant, you will focus on developing yourself as a citizen leader and participate in a series of sessions throughout the term led by expert guest speakers. Topics in the past have ranged from developing group facilitation skills, public speaking, writing in the workplace, designing PowerPoint presentations with style and effectiveness, cultural sensitivity and awareness, and problem solving, decision making, and negotiation skills.

MLDP includes students from all over campus studying any type of academic discipline (it's not just for Rocky students!) - this is a unique networking opportunity to interact on a regular basis with a diverse group of peers.

MLDP sessions occur on Tuesday evenings, and begin with group dinner discussions (dinner is served!) at 6:00pm, with our speaker-led presentations and group activities that go until 8:00pm. Each session is 2 hours each week and you receive a certificate upon completion.
