Funding (up to $4000) is available to pursue your passions!

The Tucker Foundation's Service and Education Department offers two funding opportunities for Dartmouth undergraduates on their leave terms:
                                          
**The Tucker International Fellowship Program**

Or

**Dartmouth Partners in Community Service Internship Program** (domestic, US based)

Past Fellows and Interns have:
*       Worked with healthcare for the homeless in Boston
*       Taught English in Costa Rica, Ecuador, and China
*       Assisted in medical centers in Serbia, Boston, and New Hampshire
*       Worked with AIDS patients in India, New York, and Africa
*       Mentored students in Ecuador, New Jersey, and Mexico


*        Legal assistant at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles, CA

*        Legal researcher at Lawyers Alliance for New York in New York, NY

*        Legal intern and interpreter for the Bay Area Legal Aid

*        Legal assistant at National Prison Alliance of the ACLU in Washington D.C.


*       Taught nutrition workshops for children in Guatemala

*       Taught English to youth in Ecuador and South Africa

*       Taken outdoor excursions and taught science/environmental awareness in Los Angeles

*       Mentored youth through the Breakthrough Collaborative across the US

 


 

Requirements:
Work 40 hours a week
Work for 8-10 weeks
Directly serve an under-resourced community
Serve through a non-profit organization
