The United States Supreme Court decision in Riley v. California (2014) has raised various legal questions as to how judges should issue search warrants authorizing law enforcement to check cell phones and other forms of digital media.

In celebration of Constitution Day and the enduring challenges in reconciling digital privacy with constitutional law, the Rockefeller Center will host a lecture by Jennifer B. Sargent titled "Hey, You Can't Just Look in There: Current Fourth Amendment Issues Regarding Cell Phone and Email Privacy after Riley v. California (2014)."

The event will be held at Rockefeller 003 from 4:30-5:30pm this Thursday, September 18th.

Additionally, sign up below for a discussion session over these issues with Professor Sargent, free lunch provided. This will be Thursday, September 18th at 12:00pm in Morrison Commons.
