Film Events This Week:

Mon May 19, 6-7pm: Dartmouth Film Society Meeting (Wilson 205) The Dartmouth Film Society is a student organization that meets once a week to discuss the films playing at the Hopkins Center, debate important issues (like whether Ghostbusters is the best film of all time), write program notes, critique new movie trailers and vote on series proposals for future terms. You don’t have to be an expert - you just have to have an opinion!

Mon May 19, 7-8pm: Music Video Monday (Digital Lab, Black Family Visual Arts Center) Teams will compete to guess what the music video for a song would (should?) be. Bring a team of friends! Pizza included.

Tues May 20, 4-5:30pm: Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro Workshop (Digital Lab, Black Family Visual Arts Center) Adobe Premiere Pro is a video editing program that is very similar to Final Cut Pro.

Thurs May 22, 4-5:30pm: Introduction to Adobe Lightroom Workshop (Digital Lab, Black Family Visual Arts Center) Learn how to use the tools in Lightroom to make your photos look awesome!

Fri May 23, 6:30pm, 8:30pm: Film Special: Good Vibes and Duct Tape: Stories with Cindy Pierce (Loew Auditorium, Black Family Visual Arts Center) Dartmouth film students have produced and directed a new short documentary about Upper Valley comedian and innkeeper Cindy Pierce, Good Vibes & Duct Tape: Stories with Cindy Pierce. See the trailer at http://vimeo.com/95439024. The 25-minute film will be screened at 6:30pm and at 8:30pm in Loew. Q&As with Cindy Pierce and the students will follow each screening. The documentary contains adult subject matter and language.
