 "Primary Controls on Phosphorus Availability in Taylor Valley, Antarctica" by Ruth Heindel, 4:00 PM, Steele 007 
Ruth Heindel is an Earth Sciences graduate student who studies the impacts of past glaciation on current landscape processes in West Greenland and the Dry Valleys of Antarctica.  As a former high school science teacher, she is committed to science education and communication, and is always looking for ways to share her experiences with the broader community.

RADICAL JEWELRY MAKEOVER, 5:30 PM Alumni Hall 
The Hopkins Center will culminate this spring’s Radical Jewelry Makeover project with a jewelry sale, exhibit preview, and panel discussion. The panel will feature the visitors from Ethical Metalsmiths, our partner in this project, as well as two local jewelry designers and Prof. Mukul Sharma of the Earth Sciences Department. The discussion will explore the connections between recycling and art and the environmental impact of mining for metals.  Jewelry by current and former Claflin Jewelry Studio staff, students, and artists-in-residence will be on display and for sale, all created from recycled community donations.

Have a flat tire? Need to repair you bike so you can enjoy the upcoming spring weather? Come out to the Pop Up Bike Shop this week to have your bike examined and fixed by one of our Dartmouth Bikes mechanics. $5 fee for tune-ups, plus the costs of parts if needed. DASH or Cash accepted!

Tim DeChristopher and Terry Tempest Williams Sustainability Salon 3:00 PM, One Wheelock 
Tim DeChristopher, known as "Bidder 70" for bidding up illegal oil and gas leases in Utah and then, being arrested and sentenced to two years in a federal prison which he served -- is coming to Dartmouth!  Now a student at Harvard Divinity School, Tim will have a conversation about climate change, divestment, and why civil disobedience is a deeply American ideal.  Join us for a very special salon with one of the true heroes of the environmental and social justice movement

Time to sell unwanted clothes and put some money in your pocket at the Sustainable Clothing Sale! 
Sign up here as an individual, group of friends, Greek house or organization, and sell your used clothing directly to other members of the Dartmouth community. Signing up is completely free and you get to keep 100% of the money you make. At your personal table, you will be responsible for displaying and pricing your old flair, sports gear, formal attire, casual clothing, and any other sellable items. It's essentially a farmers market of clothing where students are the sellers/buyers!
