Both the office hours and workshop will offer discussions on reasons for pursuingpatent protection, the process of securing patent protection and common pitfalls, with a focus on practical considerations for startups.

All Dartmouth students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to join us for one or both of these events on Wed, 4/30, at Tuck. Both events are free, but registration is required.

About the workshop leader: 

Rob Jensen D'02, Th'02 is a patent attorney at Wolf Greenfield in Boston.  Rob's practice focuses on client counseling with respect to patent issues as well as preparation and prosecution of patents in the fields of electronics, software and consumer products.  

Rob has 10 years of experience in the patent field.  Current clients range from venture-backed startups and universities to large multinational corporations.  Prior to entering the patent field, Rob earned a B.E. from Thayer School of Engineering and a MS from MIT in electrical engineering.
