Positions open to ALL students:​

II. Vice President (1 will be elected) who will: 
*must have served on the exec board before*
• Serve as President when the President is absent. 
• Advise the President in all decisions. 
• Run General Body (GB) Meetings and be responsible for coming up with the topics 
for GB meetings. 
• Serve as liaison between DCC and alumni while cultivating alumni 
relations. 

III. Secretary (1 will be elected) who will: 
• Record attendance and minutes for all Executive Board and General 
Body meetings that should be available upon request. 
• Maintain accurate records of all documentation pertaining to the 
organization such as membership lists and schedule of upcoming 
meetings and events. 

IV. Treasurer (1 will be elected) who will: 
• Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date account of DCC 
budget, expenses, and funding requests. 
• Fill out and handle all funding proposals. 
• Attend all budget related meetings, or if unable to attend will 
communicate with event point person and / or president to ensure 
that DCC will be represented at meetings. 
• Maintain constant communication between funding officers and the 
Council on Student Organizations (COSO) for increased funding 
opportunities. 

V. Public Relations & Communications Chair (1 will be elected) who will: 
• Be held responsible for managing all social media accounts 
including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, tumbler, 
etc. 
• Be held responsible for disseminating all information to the body 
through Caribbean Connection bulletins and mailings. 
• Serve as the liaison between DCC and other organizations both on 
and off campus. 
• Monitor and maintain the DCC blitz account throughout the term.
 • Work closely with the point person for each event regarding 
communication. 

 VI. Marketing & Design Chair (1 will be elected) who will:
• Craft posters and all forms of advertisement, including marketing 
blitzes. 
• Be responsible for distribution and display of all forms of tangible advertisement. 
• Send the Public Relations & Communications Chair any electronic advertisements to be distributed through campus listserv.
• Be responsible for documenting all DCC events including but not 
limited to photo and video documentation. 

VII. Event Organizer (2 will be elected) who will: 
• Be responsible for planning and proposing the social events of the 
Caribbean Connection (including parties, picnics, receptions, public 
speakers, educational events etc) 
• Assist public Relations & Communications Chair and Marketing & 
Design Chair in organizing and publicizing DCC events.​
