3) HOLY WEEK and EASTER service begin with Lauren Gatewood '14 tonight at 5pm

TODAY's Sunday Night Chapel is from 5-5:30pm in Rollins Chapel with Lauren Gatewood '14 preaching on Palm Sunday.  

 

Friday is GOOD FRIDAY and there will be an ecumenical STATIONS OF THE CROSS beginning at 2PM from Our Savior Lutheran Church (7 Summer Street in Hanover – side street across from the Hanover High School).  The walk is exactly 2 miles and will be saying prayers at fourteen stations around town and campus.  Join the walk for a portion or the whole thing!  The walk is organized by the Episcopal Campus Ministry*, Aquinas House*, Our Savior Lutheran Church and Student Center*, St. Thomas Church* and St. Denis Church  (*Sponsored organization of the Tucker Foundation)


NEXT SUNDAY, April 20th, is EASTER SUNDAY!  We will have a SUNRISE SERVICE on the GREEN at 6AM (rain location: Rollins), followed by breakfast back at the Tucker Foundation. We will also have a 5PM EASTER COMMUNION SERIVCE in Rollins Chapel at 5pm.

6) Join the Millennial Action Summit! Register Now!

May 3, 2014 at Tuck School of Business

Over two days, we will bring together hundreds of student leaders, state legislators, public educators, and health professionals from across New Hampshire for a forward-looking discussion on health and education disparities across the nation. Following the conference, our staffers will help sustain relationships formed and continue grooming a direct dialogue between students and policymakers. This includes all of the implementers and innovators within our system, starting with the classroom and waiting room, all the way up to the legislature.

The Tucker Foundation is now accepting essays for the 2nd Annual Servant Leadership Essay Contest. Significant cash prizes are available to freshmen and sophomores who demonstrate a real understanding of what it means to be a servant leader. Apply for a Tucker Fellowship (international service) or DPCS Internship (domestic U.S. service)!!

Center City Public Charter Schools (Washington, DC) is hiring an Academic Coordinator for their central office Academic Affairs team. The academic coordinator will serve as a key member of the team, providing logistical and technical support, and assisting in the coordination and implementation of the professional development program and district-wide assessments. Applications due 4/30!

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (DC Metro Area) is hiring a HealthCare Ambassador. The HealthCare Ambassador will act as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure the entire spectrum of care is coordinated for patients. Applications due 4/22!

Conversations That Matter, a facilitated reflection and meaningful discussion program at Tucker, is seeking students to be facilitators! As a Peer Reflection Facilitator you will be trained to co-facilitate groups in meaningful, reflective workshops.

11) "Nature and Contemplative Awareness" program begins on Monday – only 4 slots left!!!

This new program draws upon classic spiritual disciplines from East and West as we learn to enhance sensory awareness, deepen mindfulness and enter into new levels of conscious relationship with nature.  

Program takes place during

* four afternoon hikes (April 14, 23, 30, May 7 from 3-6pm) to natural areas near campus,

* and one overnight  journey in the heart of the White Mountains (May 10 at 9am  - the 11th at 5pm).

Join us on Monday, April 14th at 8:30pm in Rocky 1 to learn more about summer volunteer opportunities! Volunteer positions include mentor, academic coach, and SEAD Crew! The Summer Enrichment At Dartmouth (SEAD) program brings promising students from under-resourced high schools and low income families in the Northeast to the Dartmouth campus each summer in order to provide them with the skills that they need to succeed in school and in the college admissions process.
