Who is Diane Reinhardt?

She has lived in the Upper Valley since 1984. Diane worked as a self-employed custom furniture maker for 13 years before moving into house construction in 2000. She had been a volunteer work leader at COVER since 2005 before becoming their Weatherization Director in 2011. In January of 2014 Diane became the Co-director with John Heath of the Home Repair program at COVER while maintaining her position of Weatherization Director.

COVER is a volunteer based non-profit. Their mission is to build community and foster hope through home repair. They bring together groups of people that share a common goal in the form of an urgently needed home repair. They liken it to the old fashion barn raising, neighbor helping neighbor, who share a common goal of neighbor helping neighbor.

"Shake hands with strangers at the beginning of the day. Hammer a nail; measure and cut a board or a shingle; learn to do something you've never done before; work hard. Say goodbye to friends at the end of the day"
