Next week, OPAL is hosting focus groups on behalf of the Office of Civil Rights.

The focus groups have been organized in an effort to ensure students have the opportunity to share their Dartmouth experiences, positive and negative, in a confidential environment. Professionals from the Office of Civil Rights will be facilitating these discussions and soliciting student input as part of a current investigation. College personnel will not be present.

The focus groups are scheduled at different times throughout the week of February 24th and will be held in the conference room at the Student Academic Support Center (also known as "the office where OPAL, the Undergraduate Deans and Pre-Health Advising are located") in Baker Berry Library.

There is no need to RSVP. However, it does make it easier for the team from the Office of Civil Rights to anticipate the number of students attending each of the focus groups. If you feel comfortable, please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to share which of the sessions you plan to attend. I am also happy to try to answer questions about the focus groups.

Non-students can call the Office of Civil Rights directly to schedule a time to meet: 617-289-0083 or 617-289-0055.
