START volunteers are Dartmouth students who want to share their time and talent in a leadership role in a local 1st-8th grade classroom. Over six classroom visits, volunteers create and deliver original arts integration activities that engage students artistically and actively with their regular classroom curriculum. Volunteers do not need to have a specific arts expertise-just a creative mind, arts appreciation, and willingness to collaborate with other volunteers!
