In preparation for VFebruary, we will display in Baker-Berry all the inspirational women* of history, women of now, women who are role models, women who have impacted the world, women who are your personal favorites. The Center for Gender and Student Engagement wants to hear from YOU. Take a minute to blitz us the name of a woman who inspires you and tell us in 1-3 brief sentences why. What is VFebruary?
Every year, Dartmouth celebrates V-week which has reaffirmed Dartmouth's commitment to end violence against women and girls. This year, VFebruary will be a three-week long celebration continuing V-"week." This year, V stands for "Voices" because we hope to highlight the diversity of female experiences, create space for intersectionality of identities and provide a forum for all voices, including those previously marginalized or underrepresented. As part of VFebruary, there will be various events, including Voices, a Dartmouth student-written, student-performed monologue-performance. Look out for more blitzes to come!
