Happy 2014 and first week of classes. We are happy to announce that in lieu of a regular meeting this week we will be having a welcome back and meet new folks event.  This term we are fortunate to have a number of women of color upperclassmen back on campus and I know they are looking forward to meeting all of you beautiful 17s!

Invite your friends! Come and get advice on classes and majors and FSPs! Or just hang out with some phenomenal Women of Color.

Also the exec board is happy to announce that there are two open positions to run for this term. We have a second social chair position andacademic chair position open for the taking.  We encourage first years and everyone else to consider running for these positions! It's a great way to become more involved in WoCC and work with some really great people. Start thinking about if you would like to run and we'll announce more info soon!

Lastly, we have moved our regular meetings to Thursday at 6 pm in order to accommodate the other minority groups and their meetings (NAD, AAm, etc). Our first regular meeting will be next Thursday at 6 and you can look forward to a fantastic discussion on the queen herself - Beyonce Knowles-Carter.
