Link Up's 12th Proud to Be a Woman Dinner

The Proud to Be a Woman Dinner is an evening dedicated to getting to know other women on the Dartmouth campus - students, faculty and staff - and building a stronger community of women on campus. The dinner, catered by the Hanover Inn, will include facilitated table conversations and will feature a panel of speakers including our College’s First Lady, Gail Gentes, Director of Service and Educational Programs, Helen Damon-Moore, and Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Dr. Lauren Gulbas.

Slut Shaming, Sexuality, and Body Image


Sexuality can a beautiful and healthy part of life. Sadly, many women are made to feel ashamed of their sexuality and their bodies. Join Ragen Chastain, renowned speaker, writer, dancer, and activist, for an enlightening and empowering discussion about healthy sexuality, positive body image, and the harmful effects of slut shaming for women.

White Ribbons and Rainbow Flags


Ragen Chastain  is a leading activist and author around issues of body image, queer theory, and trans identity. Join her for a thought-provoking lecture on the impacts of gender-based violence in the queer community and how men can be a part of the work to end this violence.
