All meals for these two days will be provided as well as travel (in style in a VOX Mini Van) and modest accommodation.

2) Take a Break:  Sunday night Taizé services: 5-5:30 in Rollins Chapel

This week’s chapel theme is “Sing out my soul” and is based on Mary’s song of praise (called theMagnificat): “My soul magnifies the Lord…”  What does it mean to trust God’s promises?  What possibilities open up when we trust God?  How does this relate to your life as a student at Dartmouth?

The Sunday night Taizé service in Rollins Chapel is a wonderful way to experience inner stillness and peace in the midst of so much outer activity. This 30 minute candlelit service is patterned after the prayer from the Taizé community in France and has space for silence, scripture, meditation and simple singing (accompanied by incredibly talented student musicians).  For more information, talk to Nancy Vogele at Tucker.

5) Telling My Story

Come to Brace Commons at 7 PM on Sunday, October 27th!

In the current campus environment of fear and anger arising from verbal and physical violence between social groups and individuals, TMS On Campus offers a meaningful path for students to develop their capacity for dialogue and connection across social divides.  Two ex-inmate alumni of TMS will act as co-facilitators, bringing their experience and perspective to the program beyond the Dartmouth bubble.
