Green Fish Series: Evans and Pluta

Green Fish presents Evans and Pluta, who will be improvising and combining their respective interests in noise, jazz, musique concr?te, and contemporary composition and performance into an amalgam of ever transforming sound worlds. They will be joined on the program by Zachary Cutler '14, performing original songs.

As always there will be free wine (with valid ID) and snacks. About the Performers:
Sam Pluta (laptop) and Peter Evans (trumpet) have been performing together since 2009. Aside from their duo project and numerous free improvisation setups, they also collaborate in The Peter Evans Quintet and Octet, as well as in Rocket Science, their quartet with Evan Parker and Craig Taborn. Pluta and Evans are recorded as a duo on sum and difference (Carrier 2011), in the PE Quintet formation on Ghosts (More is More 2011), and with Rocket Science on Rocket Science (More is More 2013).
