 Rural Health Care
Despite China's claims that 99% of its rural citizens are covered by universal healthcare, there remain problems with the large number of uninsured individuals, people who lack access to care, and the large spread in quality of the doctors themselves. We will be discussing the progress that China has made in the last decade in providing health to its rural citizens, and the steps that still must be taken to control costs and make healthcare accessible to China's poorest citizens.
