The month of May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM). In celebration, the Pan Asian Council in partnership with the Office of Pan Asian Student Advising would like to invite YOU to the APAHM Keynote speaker event with Lt. Dan Choi, a LGBT civil rights activist and veterans health activist.

A West Point graduate and Iraq veteran, Lt. Choi was involved in initiating a firestorm of protests and petitions which led to the repeal of the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy. He is one of the most influential Asian American figures of our time, and he embodies intersections of many identities, including openly gay, male-identified, Asian American, and veteran.

When: Wednesday, May 1st -- 7PM
Where: Moore-Filene Basement
