Come to the Nathan Smith Society's first showing of the NOVA documentary, the Doctors' Diaries! This incredible project began capturing the first year of seven medical students at Harvard Medical School, followed them throughout medical school, and circled back over twenty years later for a reunion between the now-experienced doctors. Through a series of candid personal interviews, we get to see directly into the mind of a doctor-in-training and understand both the struggles and joys of the medical education. We see the students interact with their classmates, with patients for the first time, and with their families as they try to balance work and home life. The video is engaging, humorous at times, and above all depicts the genuine experiences and thoughts of these students. You won't want to miss this fun chance to learn more about what it means to choose a life in medicine!  The movie will last about 110 minutes.
