On Saturday, April 13 Dartmouth CAPS will be administering a Bone Marrow Drive with the National Marrow Donor Program "Be the Match."
From Professor Jon Freeman:
Our dear colleague, friend and family member, Dr. Nalini Ambady, is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant as a result of a relapse of her Leukemia. Unfortunately, the pool of South Asians donors is relatively small making the likelihood of finding a match about 50%.
WHERE: Novak
WHEN: SATURDAY April 13 (10am-3pm)
Come on down and get your cheek swabbed! It'll take 5 seconds and is painless. If you're found to be a match, it's only a slight bit more involved than a blood donation, and it could help save a life.
