WiRED! a 24-hour playwriting festival
starting THIS Friday, April 12th at 8 PM, 3-4 teams of writer-director pairs will receive a prompt for a short play to be submitted at 8 AM the next day. Saturday, actors arrive at 8 AM and rehearse for a day, and the show goes up at 8 PM
Saturday! Everyone loves doing WiRED!, and it's a wonderful SUPER LOW time commitment way to get involved in doing a little theater! Everyone gets a part!
Actors: blitz Diane Chen and Amber Porter your name and number, sign up in Shakespeare Alley in the Hop, or just SHOW UP at 8 AM on Saturday!
Writer/director pairs: blitz Diane Chen AND Amber Porter to request. Due to the popularity of WiRED!, especially in the spring terms, seniority must be taken into consideration.
Ten Minute Play Festival
Playwrights: We are now taking submissions for plays, 2-15 minutes in length, to be performed on Monday, April 29th, at 7:30 PM. No experience necessary!
