The Grassroot Soccer Tournament is coming up! Want to be involved in this Dartmouth tradition? Blitz back NOW to get involved in the spring! We have plenty of open positions in publicity, logistics, tournament coordination, advertising, and team registration. ------------------------- For those who don't know, the tournament is a fundraiser put on every spring for Grassroot Soccer, a non-profit founded by Dartmouth alums. They do incredible work using the power and popularity of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize communities and stop the spread of HIV throughout Africa. For every $17 raised by our tournament, one student will graduate from the Grassroot Soccer program. The Grassroot Soccer tournament (formerly known as "Lose the Shoes") was started by a Dartmouth student 7 years ago. It has since become one of Grassroot Soccer's biggest fundraisers and has spread to over 40 colleges around the US. The tournament is also a staple of spring term at Dartmouth, attracting up to 300 participants per year.
