The Nathan Smith Society invites all members of your organization to an all-campus interdisciplinary  event: "The Monstrous Octopus:  The Tentacles of Poverty".  Organized by the the Nathan Smith Society, Geisel Chapter of Physicians for Human Rights, Tuck's Center for Business & Society and others,  this promises to be an incredible event ranging from an art show/movie, a compelling keynote speaker (with lunch) and incredible breakout sessions, including with a Chinese medical student delegation, a presentation from those involved in Dartmouth's project in Peru (including video conferencing to Peru),  a faculty discussion about  the cultural and social roots of poverty and a poverty training session.   Open to the public, one can attend all or just part of the sessions.  Much more info on poster enclose and at the following links:
