The Dartmouth Law Journal is the nation's premiere undergraduate Journal of Law. Selected articles undergo a strict editing process to prepare them for publication. We publish works from law students, lawyers and judges from across the nation -- both online and in print.

Applications are due by this Monday, January 14 at 6pm. The Executive Publishing Editor must be able to attend all Executive Board meetings on Thursdays at 6:30pm.

Executive Publishing Editor

 

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Leads the production and general formatting of the law journal’s spring issue.
  • Functions as the Dartmouth Law Journal’s official liaison when communicating with our printers.
  • Leads a small team (1-2) of publishing editors.
  • Ensures that the publishing schedule is on track.
  • Communicates with the Executive Board and Editor-in-Chief on a weekly basis.
  • As an indispensable member of the DLJ’s Executive Board, attends all Executive Board meetings (on Thursdays at 6:30pm).

Qualifications: This candidate has extensive experience working with publications and is an expert in Adobe InDesign and general formatting (using Word). The ideal candidate is an independent worker and needs little guided instruction.
