Hey '15s...are you ready for the best summer of your lives? What, you
thought you were coming to winter term? All right, point. Here's the thing
-- sophomore summer is YOUR summer at the farm, and the growing season
starts in January! Whether you grew up milking cows or have never willingly
stuck your hands in dirt, this is your chance to make the Dartmouth Organic
Farm your home.

This winter, we'll be planning out what we want to grow this season (last
summer, we tried stevia <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia> and sweet
potatoes due to popular demand!). But that's not all! We need someone to
take charge of making maple syrup from the farm's sugar maples. If you like
walking through the woods, splitting logs, and basking in sweet saunas,
this could be you! On the side, we'll take field trips to local farms to
see what we can learn from them, and we'd love to have excited new faces
take the lead. And if you like to cook and love to eat...we do too.

Blitz back if you'd like to be added to our winter blitz list. If you want
to learn more about leadership positions, please mention that. We'll be
holding our first meeting sometime during the first week of classes, so
stay tuned!
