One more thing: Winter Term Opportunity – train over break!

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is looking for volunteers to help low/moderate income individuals and families to file their tax returns for free and access needed tax credits. Volunteers do not need tax preparation experience, but training and getting certified at a basic preparer level is required. Most tax training can be completed online at your convenience. On-site training and supervision is provided. Weekly 2 - 3 hour volunteer slots are available on Thursdays, Feb. to mid-April in White River Junction, VT.

Volunteering for VITA is a rewarding experience. You can do your training and certification over winter break and be ready to provide this valuable service next tax season. To learn more, contact Susan Brace at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or (802) 722-4575, ext. 199.
