Lingerie is a body- appreciation, - awareness and -supportive event the Tabard coeducational fraternity holds ever term. Originally begun as a fashion-focused lingerie show in the early 1990's, Lingerie has evolved to an open space where anyone is welcome
to perform, with as much or as little clothing as desired. Acts often contain choreography, or present ideas related to the body or gender, but there are always at least an equal number of "acts" where participants just have fun in front of a crowd. This last
spring, our former president took his shirt off, lit a pair of nunchucks on fire, then whirled them around for a bit. Former performers have described Lingerie as one of the most liberating, illuminating, and one-of-a-kind experiences they have been a part
of.
