Affirmative action // Diversity at Dartmouth
Monday 6PM Casque and Gauntlet*
- dinner will be served -

why does diversity matter?
what is a diverse student community?
what does it mean to support a diverse community?

Come listen, ask questions, and learn from Dean Johnson about her involvement in the landmark supreme court case Grutter v. Bollinger that solidified affirmative action in higher education. Engage in small-group discussion on the meaning of diversity and its role in a college community & the ways in which diversity could be celebrated, maintained, or improved at Dartmouth.

Take a study break, come eat with us and leave when you need to.
Everyone is welcome.

*Casque & Gauntlet, or C&G, is the brick house across the street from Collis and next to the Dirt Cowboy Cafe. The door will be propped open, come on in.

What's Women’s Forum?
Women’s Forum intends to host regular dinners and facilitated discussions focused on issues surrounding women, gender dynamics, and the Dartmouth community lifestyle as a whole. Women’s Forum aims to provide a regular “safe space” in which women across communities can sustain important campus dialogues and connect. Through providing a neutral space for conversation, Women’s Forum aims to foster the development of organic relationships and provide a framework for community building among women across campus with the objective of strengthening Dartmouth’s community of women as a whole.
