Thursday, May 17, 4-5:30pm Occom Commons (light refreshments will be served) This year’s Senior Fellows will present their fellowship projects: Blythe George Improving Native American Academic Performance: Lessons Learned in the Context of California (Advisor: Matissa Hollister, Sociology) Javed Jaghai (Re)presenting the Realities of Gay Jamaicans: Identity, Community Formation and Activism (1970-2012) (Advisor: Reena Goldthree, African & African-American Studies) The Senior Fellowship program is unique to Dartmouth and offers a select group of students the opportunity to spend senior year working on a project of their own design. Senior Fellows are not required to take classes during their fellowship year, nor are they required to complete a major.
