Inspired by the directors' long-term friendship and collaboration, these
two talented Hop ensembles unite for the first time to explore the connections between gospel & jazz.  Featuring the 19 students in the Coast & 50+ members of the Gospel Choir, the concerts will include the directors' arrangements of selections from Ramsey Lewis' award-winning gospel CD, With One Voice, a contemporary take on Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, spirited music from the New Orleans brass band tradition and favorites of both the Coast & the Gospel Choir.
