Evening with Dr. James Geiling

Join the Nathan Smith Society TONIGHT to hear from Dr. James Geiling about his time
as a member of Dartmouth's Haiti Response Team.  While presenting pictures and
video clips from this experience, Dr. Geiling will also share insight into careers
within disaster medicine.  This event provides the opportunity for students
to engage with a recognized leader and to learn more about emergency preparedness
and disaster relief efforts.
 
Dr. Geiling currently serves as Chief of the Medical Service and Director of the
Intensive Care Unit at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Junction,
VT.  In addition, he is a professor of medicine at DMS.  He attended Bucknell
University as an undergraduate before going on to receive his M.D. in 1982 from
the Uniformed Service University in Bethesda, Maryland.
