As the Holiday Season is fast approaching, so is the Season of Giving!!!!!! FOOD DRIVE! FOOD DRIVE! FOOD DRIVE!  11/11-11/18 That’s right This Friday to Next Friday!

 

Why wouldn't you want to help people who are in need? 

 

You would! :)

 

What you can do: DONATE DONATE DONATE NON-Perishable Items to the boxes set-up in the Cutter-Shabazz TV room, which is located on the first floor (the room straight ahead as you walk in the front!)

 

Proceeds will go to the UPPER VALLEY HAVEN!! 

 

What does NON-Perishable Items mean?  Basically, anything that won’t spoil/go bad/perish anytime soon.

Examples of Acceptable Items: Canned foods (fruit, spaghetti sauce, vegetables, tomato products, chicken, salmon, beans), V-8 juice, vegetable soup, evaporated milk, canned & boxed 100% juice, applesauce, dried fruits, raisins, peanut butter, salad dressing, jelly/jam, vegetable oil, honey, syrup…etc. 

 

The Upper Valley Haven is a non-profit, private organization that serves people struggling with poverty by providing food, shelter, education, clothing, and support. The Upper Valley Haven:

•           welcomes all who enter its doors as equals, respecting their dignity and accepting them without judgment

•           encourages those it serves to develop their capacity for independence and self sufficiency
