MARLENE HECK Discussion topic: "Everyone's a[n architectural] critic" The current state of Dartmouth architecture Bio: As a professor in the Art and Art History departments, Marlene Heck's work focuses on the architectural and social history of 'America in the age of Jefferson.' Founding partner of the cultural resource management firm of Hardy.Heck.Moore & Associates, her current research focuses on about America's 18th-century Palladian architectural tradition, an architectural and social history of Portsmouth NH after the Revolution, and American architectural firms' work in the Middle East in the 1970s and 1980s.
